“Gonna travel, gonna travel wild and free
I’m gonna pack my bags because this great big world is calling me”
Elvis Presley – Harem Holiday
In our B.K. (before kids) life, we embodied the complete definition of wanderlust. There was no such thing as enough travel and there was no way you could tell us that travel wouldn’t be a part of our life forever. We kept hearing things like, “Enjoy it while you can!” or “Glad you’re traveling now, everything will change when you have kids.”
Sure, life changes when you have kids. But does that mean it should change who you are? In our humble opinion, it just meant another someone to share the world with – and a few extra things in our carry on. Three kids, a few job changes and a couple of houses later, here we are, still traveling, still exploring and working to foster the same sense of wanderlust and appreciation for the world in the three little ones we have been blessed to share our world with.
These are our stories…our adventures…our misadventures and our musings along the way. Sure, things might not always be perfect, but that makes them all the more memorable.
Won’t you come along? I promise, it is going to be a wild ride.
